Talanx is the third-largest insurance group in Germany. Collecting EUR 31 billion in gross written premiums in 2015, it is more than twice as large as the entire Polish insurance market. At the same time it made a net profit of more than EUR 1.4 billion. Its rating according to Standard & Poor’s is A+/stable. It is active in some 150 countries where it operates as insurer and reinsurer in both life and non-life insurance markets. Talanx has been present on the Frankfurt Stock Exchange since 2012 and its Warsaw Stock Exchange debut was in April 2014.
Meiji Yasuda is one of the oldest life insurance companies in Japan with a history spanning more than 130 years. In 2015, company recorded about EUR 26 billion in premium income. It holds the 284th position on the list of the 500 biggest companies in the world according to Fortune’s 2016 ranking. Its rating according to Standard & Poor’s is A/stable.
