Europa Group has a new rapidly growing business line based on small and medium-sized enterprises
During the three quarters of this year, Europa Insurance Group collected PLN 1.2 billion of gross written premium (according to IAS) and earned a net profit of PLN 75 million*. The Group continues to achieve strong sales in insurances bundled with bank cash loans. The Group has also introduced other innovative products in its SME offer which has allowed it to obtain high volumes in this sector. Insurance products for SME are currently the second product line of the Europa Group measured on premium.

Europa Insurance Group: new ideas for business pay off
In the first half of 2014 the Europa Insurance Group earned a profit of PLN 47.8 million (profit exclusive of dividends) and collected PLN 785 million of gross written premium (according to IAS). Europa maintains high insurance sales for the SME sector and related to cash loans which are the dominating business lines in the Group’s portfolio. The new category of life insurance for the leasing sector develops dynamically. Their sales increased 7 times.

As research carried out for Europa Group by IMAS shows, more than half of Poles going abroad within the last 12 months did not buy travel insurance. Latest technologies for Europa Group clients
Europa Group has launched a new Internet service www.tueuropa.pl. This is the first portal in Poland to sell insurance on-line. It has been designed based on the latest RWD trends, thanks to which the purchase of an insurance policy on-line can be easily made on mobile devices. The revamp of the web site is another step in the Group’s strategy which is seeking to strengthen its presence in the individual clients segment and develop sales via the Internet under one brand and in broader activities.
