GK Europa together with the Polish Chamber of Insurance and the Polish Chamber of Tourism held a press conference dedicated to travel insurance products.
The conference marked the start of an educational campaign called “Insurance – A Significant Issue” whose aim is to educate the public about the need for a well-informed and thoughtful choice of insurance. During the conference, a study conducted by the Homo Homini research institute and commissioned by the Europa Grup was presented. Its results show that only slightly more than 14 per cent of people going on holiday in groups organised by tour operators always buy additional insurance. The lack of careful reading of policy terms also remains quite a big problem. Only less than 42 per cent of people going on organised trips pay sufficient attention to them.
