The EUROPA Group to open its first international branches. As part of implementation of its expansion plans, the Group is entering the Ukrainian insurance market.
The newly established companies will offer life and non-life insurance products in Ukraine. Among the key pillars of the Group’s strategy is to run the insurance business on the eastern market using the business model that proved itself in Poland, with bancassurance products as its main elements.
The Europa Group is a dynamically growing organisation which has gained the trust of its domestic customers. Today we are leaders of bancassurance in Poland and we are constantly strengthening our market position in this segment. At the same time, our plans are ambitious and we want to grow even more dynamically, also on new international markets,” says Jacek Podoba, President of the Board of TU Europa S.A. and TU na Życie Europa S.A.
Europa’s expansion is one of the elements of the Group’s long-term strategy. The management boards of both Europa insurance companies decided to invest in Ukraine because they see a significant potential there as well as growth prospects for the products offered by both companies.
We want to offer Ukrainian customers top quality service as well as the standards we have been able to develop on the Polish market,” added Podoba.
The above is not the first experience of TU Europa S.A. and TU na Życie Europa S.A. on eastern markets. For more than ten years the Group has been selling cross-border liability insurance, health insurance and green cards there. Additionally, the Ukrainian PLUS BANK belongs to Getin Holding the Europa Group is a part of.
